Lupe Buten M.S., CCC-SLP/TSSLD-BE
Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist

Hi! I’m Lupe, a licensed pediatric speech‑language pathologist and the founder of Speak Through Play, Inc. I work with children and families across Westchester, NY and Connecticut, as well as virtually throughout NY and CT.

I have extensive experience supporting children with a variety of communication needs, and my clinical focus has expanded to include articulation therapy and pediatric myofunctional therapy, while continuing to treat speech and language development.

​

As both a clinician and a mom of three, I understand how communication impacts everyday family life — from mealtimes and routines to learning, socializing, and emotional regulation. This perspective shapes everything I do in therapy. I believe progress happens best when families feel supported, empowered, and involved.

My therapy style is warm, engaging, and evidence‑based. I use play as a powerful tool to help children feel comfortable while building the skills they need to communicate clearly and confidently.
